Pitt Technology Group is proud to announce the expansion of its ownership group with the addition of Chief Operating Officer Andy Dierks. Joining existing owners Doug Pitt and Kevin Waterland, Dierks' appointment as a partner marks a significant milestone in the company's continued growth, success, and commitment to its staff.

The Springfield Tech Council presented its Excellence in Technology Awards at a gala Nov. 10, 2023. The event held at the White River Conference Center included 15 awards presented to area technology professionals and organizations. Over 250 were in attendance. PTG was honored to receive the award and to have so many of its employees nominated.

Two Springfield companies are joining together via an acquisition.

Pitt Technology Group LLC penned a deal to buy Protel Systems and Supplies Inc., according to a news release. The deal is scheduled to close Dec. 1 for undisclosed terms, said Kevin Waterland, co-owner and general manager of Pitt Technology Group.

Pitt Technology was formed in 2017, when Pitt and Waterland decided to buy back their original company and merge it with other companies the duo had formed on the side, along with later acquisition of AVman & Associates Ltd. The company offers technological solutions with a wide variety of employees, from techs in reflective gear running cable to software developers.
